NOTE:  Registration has now closed for this conference.

On behalf of the Project Partners I would like to welcome you to the MAREN Conference website.

MAREN (Marine Renewable Energy - Energy Extraction and Hydro-Environmental Aspects)  is a project funded under the EU  Atlantic Area Transnational Programme to investigate various aspects of tidal, wave and offshore wind energy.  The Project is coordinated by researchers from Cardiff University, UK, and has Partners from Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal.

This end of project conference is being held in the College of Engineering and Informatics at the National University of Ireland, Galway on the 11th and 12th April 2013.  The main objectives of the conference are to disseminate research findings to stakeholders and others interested parties.  The conference will also host workshops to stimulate stakeholder debate in key areas.
