Biorefining Training School 2013
3rd European Training School on the Principles and
Technologies for Biorefining
13th-15th August 2013
The 3rd European Biorefinery Training School will be held at the National University of Ireland Galway on 13th-15th of August 2013.
The training school is supported by International Energy Agency (IEA) Task 42 Biorefineries, Technical Centre for Biorefinery and Bioenergy, EU INTERREG and Cellulac Ltd. Other sponsors and supports will be announced soon.
The Biorefining School intends to inform industry, policy makers, Science and technology researchers as well as postgraduate students on developments globally and locally in the areas of biorefining.
On the first day, IEA Task 42 presenters will inform the participants of developments in their countries, both broadly and on individual case studies.
Day two will be dedicated to initiatives in commercialisation, late stage research and opportunities arising in this sector.
Day three will include research programmes from postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers and some individual initiatives. A discussion period will allow clarification and enhancement of the knowledge gained during this three day period.
A poster display session will be held during the training school.
Facilities will be available for private discussions outside of the main events for attendees wishing to pursue the possibility of mutual goals.
Who should attend? Anyone interested in the emergence of the Global Bio-based Economy, Business, Industry, Policy makers, Funding bodies, academic and industrial researchers, people who are interested in fast developing and emerging bio-based technologies.
