The annual Advanced Functional Polymers in Medicine (AFPM) 2015 conference will be held in Galway, Ireland from March 23rd to 25th, 2015. The conference venue is a 4-star hotel located in Galway city centre (Hotel Meyrick).
The purpose of the series of AFPM conferences is to strengthen the interactions within the community of chemists, material engineers, physicists, biologists and clinicians in the development of Advanced Functional Polymers for Medicine. The current status, challenges and requirements for future developments of polymers for medicine will be presented by leading experts. The conference, therefore, provides an outstanding opportunity to help young scientists in their career development and offers them an interdisciplinary discussion forum within an exclusive circle. The AFPM 2015 conference will offer delegates innovative and stimulating topics with a well-balanced programme of invited speakers, oral and poster presentations.
Galway is an ideal place for our gathering. The vibrant National University of Ireland Galway and a strong medical devices industry are both thriving parts of this dynamic city. Galway is also a cultural centre for the west of Ireland. This compact and lively city can easily be explored on foot as you find the perfect pub or take a stroll around Galway Bay. We hope you find a moment or two to get to know “The City of the Tribes” between the many sessions and events on offer. And any visit to Galway would hardly be complete without some Irish music and pub trail.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Galway!
