I am delighted to welcome delegates to this 1-day conference hosted here at the National University of Ireland, Galway.  The theme of the conference is Research Publication and Dissemination. The primary aim of this event is to examine key issues affecting research publication and dissemination both nationally and globally.  The conference programme brings together a range of stakeholders, with key roles in ensuring maximum exposure for Irish Research, and encouraging ongoing investment in Irelandís Knowledge Economy.
