NUI Galway in collaboration with eminent US and Irish scholars will provide a Masterclass in health economics and policy between March 20th and March 24th 2016.
The Class will provide an opportunity for early career researchers, policy makers and others to meet and interact with leading national and international health economists within the context of a series of interactive lectures and laboratory classes. Sessions will cover a range of topics including risky behaviours, addiction, service use and delivery reform as well as sessions devoted to the publication of economics in medical journals and a “meet the editors” session.
Spaces are limited and early registration is highly recommended.
Updates on the programme and events around the Class will be posted on this website as well as by email to those who have registered.
This is a unique event, made possible by generous support from NUI Galway, AbbVie and most importantly the contributors themselves.
Queries can be addressed to Ciaran O'Neill by email at Ciaran.firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include "masterclass" in the subject line of email.
The event will be held in the Institute for Lifecourse and Society (http://www.nuigalway.ie/ilas/).
Online registration is available with an early bird discount of 400 euro. Registrations after December 31st will be charged at 500 euro. Please note spaces are limited and registration will close once spaces are filled.
