5th Annual Research Symposium

The symposium aims to present the findings of the final year Mathematics

A public symposium to showcase the research and achievements of the final year Mathematics and Education students of 2016.

and Education students' research projects, undertaken during their final year teaching placement. It promotes their innovative ideas and approaches with professionals in the field of mathematics education. The event will also have two insightful keynote speakers from the field of mathematics education. 

Event Details

Open to anyone with an interest in Mathematics Education and in particular, principals and school teachers.

Date: Tuesday, 22nd March 2016,

Venue: Education building, D-block, National University of Ireland, Galway.

Fee: Admission is free and it is advised to register early as places are limited.

Refreshments: Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This symposium is organised and run by final year students of the B.A Mathematics & Education programme, as part of the School of Education and the School of Mathematics, Statistics & Applied Mathematics of the National University of Ireland, Galway.
