The Irish Centre for Human Rights at the National University of Ireland Galway will host a half-day symposium exploring the growing role of non-financial reporting in the context of international and national efforts aimed at advancing business respect for human rights. This event will explore recent international developments in this area and consider the implications in an Irish context of the recent incorporation of EU Directive 2014/95/EU requiring non-financial and diversity disclosures by certain business enterprises. The symposium will bring together a number of legal and policy experts from various fields to discuss the implications of non-financial reporting for business and human rights.
