VISAS for non EU citizens
For non-EU citizens: it is the responsibility of the participant to find out how long it takes to obtain a Visa. Citizens of certain countries require a visa to enter into the Republic of Ireland. Please refer to the Visa Section of the Irish Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform for further details: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Irish%20Visa%20Information
The Digital Enterprise Research Institute can provide a Letter of Invitation, should you require one, but you must first make a registration payment. All Visa or Mastercard charges must match the name of the participant, otherwise your card will be automatically rebated to protect from fraud.
Participants requiring a visa should ensure they allow sufficient time to complete the visa application process prior to the commencement of the 18th International Conference on Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management.
Please note: We will be happy to offer a Letter of Invitation, should you need one for visa processing. We are unable to send such letters via DHL or other express mail services, due to high cost. A scanned pdf will be emailed to each participant, and a hard copy mailed via Irish Post.
If participants have registered and are denied a Visa, DERI will provide a refund (see refund information above).
