Please note, due to unforseen circumstances the following keynote speakers will be unable to attend this years conference: Tim Bushnell, John Daley and Rhodri Jones.
The Society is delighted to announce that the following keynote speakers have recently confirmed their attendance: Vasilis Toxavidis and John Tigges from The Harvard Stem Cell Institute, USA and Christian Muller from the French National Centre for Research (CNRS), Strasbourg, France.
Registration will take place in the Bailey Allen Hall, Áras na MacLéinn Building, NUI Galway on Tuesday November 6th and Wednesday November 7th from 08.30 to 09.30. The desk will be open throughout the conference so don’t worry if you’re late!

ATTENTION ALL SPEAKERS!
Please keep to your allotted time. Session chairs have been asked to ensure that speakers keep to time.
In order to comply with the audio visual requirements of the conference hall, can you please save your presentation in PowerPoint Windows 2007 format, and please send your completed presentation to Shirley.Hanley @ nuigalway.ie by Friday November 2nd.
There will be a speaker ready room available at the conference.
ATTENTION ALL POSTER PRESENTERS!
Posters will be displayed in The Bailey Allen Hall, Aras Na Mac Leinn, NUI Galway. The required poster size is standard A0 size (119cm H x 84cm W) in portrait format and printed as a single sheet.
Please ensure that you hang your posters on the first morning of the conference, November 6th, between 8am to 9am. The location of your poster board will be in the conference programme given to you upon registration, adhesive materials will be provided.
Refreshments and Entertainment
Tea/coffee & lunch for both days will be provided free of charge in The Bailey Allen Hall.
Happy Hour will take place at approximately 17.10 to 18.10 on Tuesday November 6th in the College Bar, located beside The Bailey Allen Hall. Tickets for the Happy Hour will be provided to delegates upon registration.
The Conference Dinner (optional €50 extra) will take place at 8pm Tuesday November 6th in ‘Ard Bia at Nimmos’ restaurant, Spanish Arch, Long Walk. Tickets will be provided to delegates attending the dinner upon registration.
Flocyte Training Courses
The two one day training courses, organised by Flocyte, will take place directly after the conference on November 8th and 9th in the NCBES Seminar Room, located in The Orbsen Building in the main campus of NUI Galway University.
