Parking on Campus

Parking permits have been arranged to facilitate access to the NUI Galway Park & Ride Car Park located adjacent to Corrib Village. These permits are available to registered delegates only and must be displayed in your car at all times. Please note that this permit does not permit you to park in the pay and display areas and is only valid for the NUI Galway Park and Ride Car Park. All illegally parked vehicles, including cars not displaying a permit, will be clamped. Please download and print your parking permit and bring with you on the day of the Conference to display in your car. Please CLICK HERE  to download and print the parking permit.

A park and ride bus will operate between the car park and the venue, please CLICK HERE  for the park and ride time table. The bus journey will take approximately 10 minutes from the park and ride car park, to the final stop, The South Terminus, located directly outside The Orbsen Building. The Bailey Allen Hall is a 2 minute walk from The Orbsen Building.

For those who may like to walk from the Car Park to the Conference venue, it is a 20 minute walk through Corrib Village student residence.

 

Directions to Park and Ride Car Park

Coming from the direction of Galway City, The Park and Ride Car Park is accessed off the Upper Newcastle / Moycullen Road (N59) via the entrance to Corrib Village.

Turn off the Upper Newcastle Road at the entrance to Corrib Village. After turning off the Upper Newcastle Road at the entrance to Corrib Village, stay left and follow the road to the left towards the Car Park. There is a bus stop and shelter in the Car Park and the shuttle bus will be operating to/from the Conference venue approximately every 10 minutes during peak hours.
