The School of Geography and Archaeology, National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland in association with the Geographical Society of Ireland, is delighted to host the 45th Conference of Irish Geographers from May 16th-18th 2013.
The Conference will be held in the Engineering Building at National University of Ireland, Galway. The keynote lectures will be held on the ground floor in Lecture Theatre 01/ENG-G018.

There is a reduced registration fee of €90 prior to the 1st of April 2013. For GSI and AGTI members there is a reduced registration fee prior to the 1st of April 2013 of €80. For students and the unwaged there is a reduced registration fee of €50 prior to the 1st of April 2013.
The full registration fee of €110 applies after this date, depending on availability.
This registration fee includes a wine reception on Thursday the 16th of May, tea/coffee breaks throughout the conference as well as lunch on the 17th and 18th of May and all credit card charges.
Delegates must pay online by credit card.

The conference dinner will be held in the Meyrick Hotel on Eyre Square on the evening of Friday the 17th of May 2013. The presentation of the 2012/13 Geographical Society of Ireland Awards will take place during the course of the dinner. The conference dinner will cost €40 euro per person (four course meal including wine).
Delegates are asked to make their own accommodation arrangements. There is a number of rooms block booked in the Meyrick Hotel (see www.hotelmeyrick.ie ). To avail of the conference rate of 95 Euro for B&B on Thursday the 16th May and 120 Euro for Friday and Saturday (17th &18th May) please quote Geography Conference when reserving your room. There is a large choice of accommodation options in Galway. The House Hotel and the Harbour Hotel are both located in the centre of the city, while the Westwood Hotel is located close to the University campus.
