There are also a number of frequent and reliable bus services to choose from to travel to Galway, again with Bus Eireann, CityLink, or GoBus.
Another option from Dublin Airport is to taxi from the airport to Heuston train station and take the train to Galway. (It is pretty relaxing and donít worry if you fall asleep as Galway is the last stop!)
∑ Galway's train station is just off Eyre Square, and is only 2.5 hours away from Dublin. Find out more information on services and timetables.
