Travel to Galway

Galway is situated on the West Coast of Ireland and can be easily reached by air, ferry, train, bus, car or a combination of these. By Air

Shannon Airport - 1 hour 20 mins by bus/car
Knock Airport  - 1 hour 20 mins by bus/car
Dublin Airport - 2 hours 30 mins bus/car
Cork Airport - 3 hours by bus/car

Parking Permit - The permit must be displayed on your car and you should park in the white line spaces only. There are also some pay and display parking areas on campus which are blue lined spaces. Click here for Parking Permit.

Galway traffic tends to be very heavy between 7.30am and 9am in the morning, so you will need to allow additional time for getting through the city.
