General Information

Payments:
Delegates must pay by credit card Visa or Mastercard.   A confirmation email will issue to you immediately when you register, confirming details of what you have booked and the total amount you have authorised to be deducted from your card.

Conditions of registration:
Delegates are expected to insure themselves against theft, loss, accidents and damage or medical expenses that may arise.  The organising committee does not accept responsibility for any of the above.

Cancellation policy:
Provided a written cancellation is received before 20th of November, the full payment minus 20% for bank charges and handling will be refunded.  No refunds will be given after that date.  The cancellation policy applies to all reservations made.  No telephone cancellations will be accepted.  Submit cancellation in writing to the Conference Administrator.

Visas for Non-EU Citizens
Citizens of certain countries require a visa to enter the Republic of Ireland.  Please refer to the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs website for further details: http://foreignaffairs.gov.ie/home/index.aspx?id=8605

ISSP does not assist participants with their visa application process.  Participants requiring a visa are advised to allow sufficient time to complete the visa application process prior to the commencement of the conference.

Parking at the University
Delegates are advised that all illegally parked vehicles, including cars not displaying a permit would be clamped.

Currency Service
The Legal tender is the Euro (). Currency exchange facilities are available at the airports, at the University campus banks and at all financial institutions in Galway city centre. ATMs are widely available. Traveller cheques and credit cards are accepted in most hotels restaurants and shops. For up to date currency conversion rates delegates are advised to visit www.xe.com

Voltage
The line voltage is 220 V and most electrical points take three-pinned plugs.

Weather
Please visit www.meteireann.ie for weather conditions.  However, as there is always a risk of rain, it would be advisable to bring an umbrella or appropriate clothing.
