Parking at NUI Galway

Parking on Campus: Permits have been arranged to facilitate access to the NUI Galway Park & Ride Car Park adjacent to Corrib Village. These permits are available to registered attendees only and must be displayed at all times. A shuttle bus will be running from 11.30am to transport attendees from the car park to Aras Moyola, returning following the Seminar. There are also a number of pay and display parking areas on campus, adjacent to Aras Moyola and the Cairnes Building. However, these car parks are often full and attendees are advised to use the Park & Ride Car Park. All illegally parked vehicles, including cars not displaying a permit, will be clamped.

Directions to Park and Ride Car Park: The car park is accessed off the Upper Newcastle Road via the entrance to Corrib Village. Turn off the Upper Newcastle Road following the signs to Corrib Village. After leaving Newcastle Road, stay left and follow the road to the left towards the Car Park. There is a bus stop and shelter in the Car Park and the shuttle bus will be operating from here approximately every 20 minutes from 11.30am - 1.00pm, and again from 5.00pm - 6.00pm, to bring attendees to and from Aras Moyola.
