Tour to the Aran Islands

Depart Rossaveal by ferry to Inis Mor, the largest of the 3 Aran Islands.  Inis Mor is criss-crossed by dry stone walls and the landscape is bleak with soaring cliffs rising out of the Atlantic.  Aran has retained much of old Gaelic culture and Gaelic is still the spoken language of the Islanders.  Traditional music and song have been well preserved there.

Delegates will transfer by minibus for a guided tour to the Dun Aengus Fort, a 4000 year old fort situated on top of 400 ft high cliffs.  They will walk to the fort and on their return a minibus will be waiting to transfer them back to Kilronan village where they can enjoy lunch in a local restaurant or visit the local craft shops.

 

Cost includes private hire of coach, professional tour guide, ferry to the island, minibus tour of the Ilands, entrance to Dun Aengus Fort.

Tour to the Cliffs of Moher

This tour to the Cliffs of Moher accompanied by a professional tour guide.  Guests will travel to Clarenbridge and Kinvara, past Dunguaire Castle. The tour will continue through Ballyvaughan where they will visit the Ailwee caves.  The tour will continue to the famous village of Lisdoonvarna to the Cliffs of Moher.  From these 700 ft high Cliffs the views of the Clare coastline, the Aran Islands andmountains are spectacular.  On our return journey we will stop at a local pub in Doolin, the tour will take us back the coast road via Blackhead to Galway before reaching Galway.
