Lycette Nelson joined the Mental Disability Advocacy Center as its Litigation Director in 2010. Prior to joining MDAC, she practiced law in New York City, representing people with mental disabilities institutionalized in psychiatric hospitals and congregate residential facilities in a wide range of proceedings. She received her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was a fellow in the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights.
